Ballistic Wall Panels

Available in bullet-resistant fiberglass and ballistic steel.

Fiberglass Structural Armor:

Advantages:

  • Light Weight
  • Easy to install with standard tools
  • Cost efficient
  • Bullets embed in the laminate limiting ricochet
  • Non-spalling
  • Excellent multiple-hit capability

Applications:

  • Bank Teller Counters
  • Gas stations
  • Convenience Stores
  • Pay Counters
  • Remote Electronic Buildings
  • Secure Rooms & Officers
  • Judges Benches
  • Armored Cars
  • Kiosks
  • Postal Facilities
  • Reception Areas
  • Where personnel and valuables need protection
  • Guard Booths

Fabrication:

Fiberglass Structural Armor is readily fabricated using commonly available tools. Carbide or Ceramic grit edge saw blades are recommended. Drilling, spot facing, and counterboring are easily done with carbide tooling.

Decorating:

The composition of panels is similar to material used in the hull of fiberglass boats. Most good paints and adhesives bond readily to it. Sheet-rock and wood veneers can be bonded directly to its front face (the side bullet enters).

Applications Information:

Butt joints are ballistically weak. Reinforce them with 4" wide strip of the same material. No rigid high density material should be used adjacent to the panel's inner-surface (surface opposite the site bullet enters). Allow a minimum gap of 1/4".
